Words cannot begin to describe how thankful I am for this 5 day break I have been absolutely thrashed by my courses this year: as you can tell by this being my first journal since the summer. I had a bad episode a few weeks ago where I literally broke down, but life goes on, and it's getting better now. As soon as I make it to the end of the year, I'll be all set, and then I can go do it all again next semester ^_^ I finally uploaded some more pictures of stuff. Thanks to my art class, I have been trying to make jewelry (haha, you will see what I mean by "trying" if I can get pictures up of my attempt). And I had a great time last weekend what with New Moon coming out. I had a party with my friends, cosplayed, and went to the premiere. Oh yes, it was good fun. And thanks to Gaara, I can now play Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, because she lent me her DS. >_< I have been playing it obsessively over the break, and I'm now about half way through. Kingdom Hearts makes my day. Anyways, I am keeping my next cosplay project a secret. I know what I'm doing though, and it's going to be big. I'm pondering entering it in the costume contest at next NDK in an attempt to win craftsmanship. I was inspired to make something more intricate by Pan-pan. I met her at last year's NDK, and she sent me the craftsmanship information to use in my IB art workbook. Her Fai costume is absolutely INCREDIBLE, probably the most intricate costume I have seen. Her attention to detail is remarkable, and everything she and her partner wore was handcrafted. Ok, I could say a lot more about it, but that would take more words than I am willing to type in one sitting XD Just go check it out for yourselves, her pictures are on DeviantArt.
